On April 21, 2026, the city of Arcachon will host the 47th edition of the Best Apprentice Pastry Chef of France Competition, one of the most prestigious contests in the sector, organized by the Confédération Nationale des Artisans Pâtissiers de France.
In this edition, Salva Industrial will participate as a sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to training, excellence, and the future of professional pastry-making.
A showcase of young talent
The competition brings together 15 young talents from across France, who compete representing their respective regions. During the event, participants face various technical and creative challenges, demonstrating their mastery in pastry creations under demanding criteria of quality, taste, and presentation.
This competition is aimed at apprentices who have recently completed their pastry training and serves as a key platform to boost their professional careers within the sector.
A high-level competition
The jury, chaired by renowned professionals from the sector, evaluates the creations based on three fundamental aspects:
- Technical skill and execution
- Taste quality of the creations
- Final presentation of the products
The demanding nature of such competitions is reflected in similar tests, where candidates have several hours to create complex pieces combining creativity and technical precision.
The winner earns the prestigious title of Best Apprentice Pastry Chef of France 2026, a highly valued recognition in the world of gastronomy and pastry craftsmanship.
Commitment to the future of the sector
For Salva Industrial, supporting this type of initiative means investing in the development of new generations of professionals, fostering innovation and excellence in the pastry field.
