Positive cold chamber for storage of product at positive temperatures.
from 0ºC to +10ºC
Positive cold chamber (from 0ºC to +10ºC) for storage of product at positive temperatures
Refrigerated storage chambers with positive cold, equipped with cooling units in monoblock or split version, intended for small and medium-sized bakery and pastry shops
The solution to proper food preservation
Features
Characteristics of the positive cold chamber (PIC)
Positive cold rooms offer adequate food preservation, storage versatility and energy efficiency, making them a reliable and efficient option for the food industry and other sectors requiring controlled temperature conditions.
They are compact refrigeration units for small cold rooms in medium and low temperature compression, air or water condensing applications, governed by an intelligent control.
- Positive cold room for product storage at positive temperatures.
- Indoor temperature working range: 0ºC to +10ºC.
- Working range at outside temperature: up to 43ºC.
- Chamber built with 60mm thick polyurethane foam sandwich panel and skinplate exterior finish.
- Inner and outer surfaces finished in food grade PVC.
- 60 mm thick insulation, composed of polyurethane sandwich panels with injected polyurethane density.
- Optional 60mm sandwich panel flooring.
- Refrigeration equipment:
- MONOBLOCK located on the ceiling of the chamber.
- SPLIT with evaporators located inside the chamber and the rest of the cooling unit located at a distance of up to 10 metres.
- Sanitary profile for all joints and LED lighting.
- R449A refrigerant gas.
- It is compact and easy to install, accessible to all its interior parts.
- Maintenance is quick, simple and safe

Zero waste, lower cost and maximum energy efficiency
Proper preservation of perishable foods
High capacity to keep food fresh and in good condition for extended periods of time by slowing the growth of bacteria and other micro-organisms that cause food spoilage. Positive cold chambers extend shelf life and reduce the risk of contamination and spoilage of raw materials.
Versatility in storage
Positive cold rooms are extremely versatile and can be adapted to different types of products and storage needs. There are different dimensions with different depths, heights and door sizes to suit the capacities of raw materials and businesses.
Cost savings and energy efficiency
They are designed to be energy efficient. These chambers are equipped with high quality thermal insulation systems and advanced temperature control technologies, which help minimise cold losses and reduce energy consumption. This translates into long-term cost savings for chamber owners and operators, as well as being more environmentally friendly by reducing the carbon footprint.
Two types of refrigeration equipment
- MONOBLOCK - Cold unit located in the top of the unit
- SPLIT - Evaporators located inside the chamber and the rest of the cooling unit located at a distance of up to 10 metres.
