Spiral dough mixer
SALVA's spiral dough mixer system gives the dough energy by exerting top-to-bottom pressure on it via a spiral tool. It is designed and manufactured to work in a high production line thanks to its fast kneading capacity and robustness. The carefully studied ratio between the diameter of the spiral and the dimensions of the dough trough ensure maximum quality kneading.
FEATURES OF THE SPIRAL MIXER
The spiral mixer is designed for high-production lines, offering fast, homogeneous, and high-quality kneading thanks to the coordinated movement of its spiral tool and the rotation of the bowl. The optimized relationship between the spiral diameter and the bowl dimensions ensures an efficient and dough-friendly process.
Its construction is solid and robust, featuring an epoxy-painted metal frame and working elements —bowl, cutter, and spiral hook— made of stainless steel. It includes the protections required by CE regulations, ensuring safe operation.
It has two speeds:

1st speed: mixing

2nd speed: kneading
Both are driven by a single motor that powers the hook and the bowl. The control panel includes a start switch, a timer for the slow speed, another timer for the fast speed, and an emergency stop button for full process control.
This mixer is prepared to work with high loads, being able to knead from 25 kg of flour (40 kg of dough), depending on the model, and offers options for different production needs:
